Dear Edgewood Families,
I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Edgewood Elementary School. My name is Jennifer Campos, and I am truly excited to join this community and partner with you in supporting our students.
My journey as an educator began nearly 20 years ago as a paraeducator, and since then I have served as a teacher, instructional coach, assessment coordinator, and administrator. Alongside my professional experience, I am also a parent of three children in a Spanish Dual Language program, and am part of a multilingual, and multicultural family. Both my personal and professional paths have shaped my belief that every child deserves to feel included, supported, and challenged. This is my “why”: to ensure all students have safe, welcoming classrooms where they are held to high expectations, receive the support and care needed to thrive, and have opportunities to grow and succeed. I also believe that our differences make us stronger and bring tremendous value to our school community.
My Core Values as a Leader
- Relationships first: Trust and connection with students, families, and staff guide everything I do.
- Equity and inclusion: Every child deserves to belong and see themselves reflected in their school community.
- High expectations with support: All children can succeed when we believe in them provide the right tools.
- Collaboration: Families, staff, and community partners working together make our school stronger.
I am excited to begin this school year with you and look forward to the learning, growth, and connections ahead.
Warmly,
Jennifer Campos
Principal, Edgewood Elementary School
